These Terms govern your use of Egypt Gold Price (“the Service”), a free website that displays live gold and silver prices, FX rates, and tools such as a Zakat and a PnL calculator for the Egyptian market. By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
All prices, rates, charts, calculator outputs, and articles are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not an offer to buy or sell gold, silver, or currency, and they are not a recommendation, solicitation, or financial advice.
The Service aggregates global spot data and Egyptian market-implied rates to display approximate per-gram and per-ounce prices for 24K, 22K, 21K and 18K gold, the Egyptian gold pound, silver, and major FX pairs. It also provides on-device calculators for Zakat, profit and loss, gold value by weight and karat, and bullion bar pricing.
Prices may be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate. Actual shop prices vary based on workmanship (masnaeya), quantity, region, and the individual dealer. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice. Do not trade or transact on the sole basis of figures shown here. You assume all risk arising from any decision made in reliance on the Service.
The Zakat calculator is a numerical tool that applies common scholarly inputs (nisab, hawl, 2.5%) to the gold price. It is not a fatwa and we do not claim religious authority. For personal religious rulings, consult a qualified scholar.
You agree not to: (a) scrape, mirror, or republish the live feed at scale without our written permission; (b) reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to bypass rate limits on our internal APIs; (c) use the Service to harm, defraud, or mislead third parties; (d) use the Service in violation of any applicable Egyptian or international law.
The Service’s name, branding, layout, code, written content, and visual design are owned by Egypt Gold Price and its licensors. Underlying market data is owned by its respective data providers. You may view and share links freely; bulk redistribution requires written permission.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uptime, refresh rate, latency, or that the Service will be free of errors. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
Live prices rely on upstream third-party data providers and public market sources. We are not liable for errors, interruptions, or delays caused by those providers, by internet infrastructure, or by events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to outages, blackouts, regulatory action, natural disasters, war, or civil unrest).
To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, Egypt Gold Price, its operators, contributors, and data providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to hold harmless Egypt Gold Price and its operators from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The competent courts of Cairo, Egypt shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms.
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
